Many Ways to Invest in your LSO

Ticket revenue only covers 25% of our operating costs (industry-wide average for symphonies our size). We rely heavily on the support of our community to sustain our world-class performances, community outreach, and music education through our Lynchburg Symphony Youth Orchestra (LSYO). There are several ways you can support us:

– Make an individual donation using our secure online form or mail a check to the LSO.
– Join Friends of the LSO, our monthly giving program.
– Make a planned gift or retirement distribution through your financial advisor.
– Make a donation of appreciated stock for tax advantages.
– Sponsor a concert or event.
– Sponsor a musician.
– Attend our annual gala on February 21, 2026.
– Give to one the LSO’s funds at the Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation.

Volunteering

Become involved with the LSO even if you are not a musician. Work alongside our board as we support the activities of the orchestra. Participate in concerts by serving as a usher.
